Compact Disks
MacPrefect includes a component that allows you to control access to Compact Disks.
Using the Compact Disks tool you can prevent users from mounting any Compact Disk, whether mounted locally or remotely over the network. You can also specify exactly what Compact Disks can be mounted by a user by setting up a specific list of authorized Compact Disks.
When used in conjunction with the Launch Control Tool you can make sure that only specific Compact Disks are mounted and that only specific applications from those Compact Disks can be launched.
