"I take care of 150 Macs by myself everyday. When I told my boss about the cost he laughed at me, But when I start complaining about being overworked and I need an assistant we'll see how fast the cost of MacAdministrator makes perfect sense to him."
Denise LeNoir, Haas Publishing Company
"Nothing can touch this software when it comes to administering school networks."
Macworld, June 2002
"We simply couldn't work without it"
Mark Totterdell, Staffordshire University
"If you run a computer lab or school network, you may already use this software. If you don't, it may prove to be a God-send - the answer to all your IT administration needs." David Fanning, Dept. Editor, Macworld
"MacAdmin has been a Godsend. If I didn't have it on the labs my workload would be insurmountable. The cost savings on the printers have already made the money back on the cost of the MacAdmin software. I only wish I knew more about scripting and how to run the software. It is extremely powerful and every week I learn something new in how to handle my labs. I really can't say enough."
Calvin Custen, Associate Staff Fine Arts Program Specialist,
University of Maryland Baltimore County
"I knew it, I knew it, I KNEW IT! Is there ANYTHING you guys haven't already thought of in this package??? Everytime I need another feature, or an extension to an existing feature, I turn around and there it is! Obviously this really is user-supported software, anything I could want has already been requested and added. I really *like* this program! If you ever need anyone to endorse your product, count me in, I'm a total convert! The best way to describe MacAdministrator is (in AUSSIE slang): Sheez BONZA software, mate!"
Paul J. Stoll - Computer Systems Officer, School of Medicine,
Flinders University of South Australia
"You should try MacAdministrator from Hi Resolution Software.
It'll do exactly what you want, is extremely cost-effective, is easy to set up, stable, has tons of other admin-related features and is in use at schools, universities and companies everywhere. We use it to control access to our Mac systems for our designers and engineers. They even have a downloadable demo you can try out."
Duncan V Essex, Internet Outfitters, Inc.
"Finally we got control over our Macs. With six hundred plus students, administration can be a living hell. MacAdmin was the solution for a Sysop who wanted some time off without having to return to a classified disaster area."
Jesper Eklund, Grafiskt Utbildningscenter (G.U.C.) AB, Sweden
"Great product! Now I can really have control over our Macintosh Lab"
John H. Lee, Technical Facilities Coordinator,

"I found MacAdministrator to be a big improvement over products that I evaluated previously. The speed and efficiency of our lab has greatly increased. As well, we have fewer system crashes."
Fred Perry, Programmer Consultant, Dept of Physics,
Memorial University of Newfoundland.
"Last semester, before we installed MacAdministrator, I had to copy a necessary piece of software to about 50% of the Macs DURING class! This semester, with MacAdministrator, only one computer needed that software installed!
Thank you for this wonderful product!"
Elio L. Arteaga, Associate Instructor, Miami-Dade Community College

"MacAdmin is a great product that definitely helps running a lab of 30 PowerMacs. The e-mail list is also very useful for update info."
Grant Caunter, Computer Consultant, The University of Waikato,
School of Science & Technology, Hamilton, New Zealand
"I would just like to complement you on the overall functionality of MacAdministrator. At the Ontario College of Art & Design, we have used many lab management packages over the years and MacAdministrator is by far the most flexible and the most stable.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone who requires an easy to use Macintosh Lab Management tool. Windows users can only dream of something this easy to use and with as much functionality as this package.
The only negative that I would comment on is that your documentation needs work. This is mainly so that we can use all the features of the package and not have to bug you to find out if MacAdmin actually does something! (it usually does)"
Asa Weinstein, Facility Manager, Academic Computer Centre,
Ontario College of Art, Canada.
"We like MacAdministrator, we like it a lot."
Ian Angles, University of St Andrews, Scotland
"MacAdministrator has removed a nightmare and created almost an order computer lab."
Neil Cohen, Teacher & Lab Supervisor, Aquinas College, Manning, Australia
"MacAdmin is a fantastic product providing the facility to customize for individual users in such a way as to give the users a personal, individual feel to the use of lab machines."
Murray Benn, Network Administrator, Macarthur Anglican School, Australia
"This institution has approximately 100 Macintoshes. Since running this product, our down time on the computers has dropped by more than half. Every computer is now standardized. Students can sit at any one of the computers knowing the software has not been tampered with and it will be the same from computer to computer. Thanks for the great support."
Scott Sevin, Computer Labs Manager, Colorado Institute of Art
"I'm very impressed with MacAdministrator. It makes my "PeeCee" using colleagues green with envy."
Michael Cutter, System/Network Administrator,
Faculty of Architecture, University of Melbourne, Australia
"Great product. Only just discovering how useful it can really be!"
Craig Cockerton, Computer Systems Advisor,
The University of Waikato Language Institute, New Zealand
"We, at the University of Liege (Belgium), decided, a year ago, to provide all our students with Internet access. So we've opened many modem connection lines and built an Internet Room, filled with 60 Macs. Then the nightmare began... Imagine 100+ students rushing to computers... After taking a couple of aspirin, we began to search for a solution to maintain this room.
And then, we found Hi Resolution and MacAdministrator. Thank God!"
Didier Korthoudt, Macintosh Platform Support,
SeGI - University of Liege - Belgium
"This product provides me with a wide variety of tools for maintaining our school's Macintosh network. The desktop security is flexible, well implemented and easy to administer. The ability to automatically add files and/or programs to all of our networked Macs has saved me a considerable amount of time."
Rob Roffe, Computer Coordinator, Canterbury School, New Milford, CT
"I have faculty and students from 5 departments pounding my computers every day. This lab would be inoperative without administration software. I devoted a decent amount of effort to researching such packages and found that of all, this product was the only one which was both easy enough to install and maintain and flexible enough to work in the ridiculously convoluted environment spawned from multiple software serial numbers and specialized machines. It saves me from lugging around 5 SyQuests every time I have to restore one of my computer's hard drives. I can do all the configuration from one place, I'm not going to get sued when students turn up with my software, I never have to see the 'kitten' desktop pattern, I'm all happy and things are great. Most importantly, I can restart computers on the other side of the room! I really do love the software, it's just tough to explain why without many wild gestures."
Julian Richards, Technical Director, Brown University Multimedia Lab, USA
"For three years we were running in circles trying to teach on Macintosh machines which were continuously being reconfigured by students. Some of this was malicious but was mostly just exploration. It's a nightmare when trying to teach and demonstrate, if the software has been deleted, disabled or mixed up with other files.
In addition we wanted various classes to have different levels of access depending on their skills. This product has gone far beyond our dreams. From a security perspective it has saved hundreds of hours of reconfiguring. We can now depend that material is where it is supposed to be. Our hard drive space is no longer filled with abandoned unidentified files.
Various classes can have different access privileges so the flexibility is great. Users are registered, machines are grouped by function and location - sanity has returned. As good as it sounds ... it gets better. To be able to load machines with new software or resource files overnight is fabulous. To be able to monitor usage, time of access and location of access has given us the data we need to know more about our students and their needs. The other functions of individualized file storage and personalized configurations are icing on the cake.
If your time is valuable this is your ticket to easy street. Worth every penny."
Bruce Silzer, Earl Haig Secondary School, Canada
