"WATCHIT! has saved my business! Our profits were hurting due to under quoted typesetting and design. I found myself guessing how long our typesetter took to do certain jobs and usually I under estimated.

"THIS IS NOT A MEDIA STUNT! I have no relation whatsoever with the guys from Hi-Resolution but am so happy about their software that I feel I should tell you about it. I honestly think that no designer/secretary/legal profession should be without it. I have been using WATCHIT! for the last three weeks now and it is an invaluable simple and hassle-free tool. No more guessing how much time each of us spent "doing a quick scan", redrawing that "simple logo" in Illustrator, how long it took to add these "minor changes" to the clients layout.... or simply checking how much time I spent reading my e-mail (what!!! that long!!!) or searching for that freeware font on AOL. I am not going to comment on the "paused time" log as I already know that I go to the toilet and the water machine quite often, but heck, you've got to give your eyes a rest from time to time!!!

In three weeks I have found out:

• We consistently underestimate the time we bill to the clients
• We suddenly realized how much time we waste doing un-necessary scans
• I spend much less time on-line than my Sysop pretends (and can now prove it!)
• We can now bill the client the long hours spent OCR-ing his crappy copy and have an argument in favour of him giving us a disk next time.
• We can now counter the client's complaint that we billed him to much for such a "simple little job" !
• Even if we don't bill him for every second, its good to know how much time we REALLY devote to him.

End of next month I am going to make a few charts (since exporting data is so easy) and have a general meeting with the whole design-staff about Time and its organization... We have already earned back the NZ$ 200 we paid for WATCHIT! and should make quite a lot of money with it.

It is a really a cheap "must-have" tool for anyone working for a living on a computer. TimeSlips and TimeSlice drop dead!!!

Add to it an impressing tech-support. My questions were answered overnight and my problems solved... you should train some of the Microsoft tech-support people!"
